Janurary Phone Favorite

I feel like January was a complete wash of a month. A false start to the year. I feel like with CoCo and all the crazy this month brought that I really needed a do over. Alas, time does not work that way, but here is a wrap up of a very slow and lsightly sad/ pathetic month. Perhaps I will be a bit more on the ball for February (I typed this is March spoiler alert....I did not get on the ball.)

Baby snuggles are the best! even if he's not really a "baby" anymore.

A oh-its-past-chirtsmas-but-we're-doing-this-puzzle-anyways puzzle.

Quick and easy puzzles are the best. This one was adorable!

The Burg's called and said they were in town and wanted to drop off some cookies. they were visiting from Austin and we ended up spending the rest of the evening with them. So great to catch up!

0mn1cron was spreading the world (Coco variant) and churhc on Sunday was sparse. Little did I know that I would start showing symptoms that evening. I felt completely fine at church.
E has been eying this Ivy City Co dress for quote awhile so I got us matching ones for Christmas. She was pretty thrilled. I love matching with my mini.

Now we need to wear them to Harry Potter World.

Feeling pretty.

While I was down and out, E made dinner. I taught her hwo to make Chicken Noodle Soup and it turned out fabulously!

Making cookies from her cookbook with Roo. She is one patient sister!

Duke finished his build!! It took him awhile but he did it all himself and I am so dang proud of him!

I challenged E to make different food out of playdoh. I thought I stumped her with soup. Nope, she delivered!
Cheesing with this babe.

WE had some snow and the kids played! It made my heart so happy. Here is Baby Bob.

And Winky.

Roo found boots and a backpack and he was alll sorts of excited to go to school with the kids. Not yet little man, not yet.
This is why Roo isn't allowed to help me with dinner. He has his own pot and is slurping up the water then spitting it back into the pot. Oh sweet mercy this boy.

Just your typical shopping cart ride.

Packing Peanut fun.

A super fun craft at Wonderscope. You pick out three animals and then turn them into an animal. The girl there was a wonderful cartoonist, E loved this station.

Alright February, we have big plans for you. Starting a renovation, Valentines week and E's birthday. It's going to be busy but hopefully we'll get a lot done. (Spoiler alert, we got some things done.)

First Time to Church

It was the first time that we have gone to in person church since March. Daddy stayed home with the littles while I went with the bigs. For those keeping track... that's a long time! It was strange as the young men passed sacrament with rubber gloves, there was no singing and the congregation was spread out, but as I listened to the hymns I felt the spirit and I knew that were were there for a reason. I felt so much peace and love from our Heavenly Father. Don't get me wrong, when we do home church right, it is amazing, but there is something special about gathering.

It was also SO NICE to dress up again. E requested that we match and I will NEVER turn down an opportunity to match with my girl. I have missed my dresses and heels! It was a wonderful Sabbath.

September Phone Favorites

We didn't do many fun things in September aside from survive school, but I did take a lot of random pictures on my phone. So here's this months phone favorite round up.

He's starting to fall asleep in my arms less and less and it's breaking my heart a little bit.

I love home church. Jakob and I got off track a little bit over the summer once the ward started zooming sacrament meeting. We would watch sacrament and call it good. We then decided that that wasn't nearly enough, so we began having lessons again and boy did I miss them.

I mean can you even with Duke's baptism picture??? Be still my heart! Love these babes!

We went to see the surgeon this month about getting Sprout's Estropia in both of his eyes fixed. Looks like that is the plan and we are looking at him going in in February. Sprout was really excited about getting and toy car and some basketball cards from the hospital while he was there.

I wanted to try stripes again and after going to the sunflower field I was feeling like a sunflower cake would be perfect. They are better than last time, but I still need to practice.

I was going for a hand painted feel and I got that. Not my best work at all but it was fun!

It's football season once again and I am so thankful to have SPORTS BACK!!!!!! Oh my heart is singing! Let's go Chiefs! Run it back!

Those little tooths.

After an amazing summer full of swimming, Papa shut down the pool this month. We are so sad, but are counting down the seconds until the pool opens back up again.

Jakob's bread making skills are getting better!!

Hello perfect baby boy!

When you don't brush your hair for 5 day and you start to get dreads. Welcome to 2020.

Sprout digging outside with his shovel. I was laughing so hard while I took this picture. This boy is hilarious!

Food storage is starting to look a bit  better!

E's handwriting has come a long ways!

First official day of fall!

Sprout and his Wee-waa Stick. I don't even know why it's named that but this stick is special and has a name.

I finally got around to painting some tulips for my Mama that she requested months ago. There is an upside to having to sit beside Duke all day.... Lots of reading and water colors.

Art is hard. That is all.

Another random nap. How is that even comfortable?

Sprout and I accidentally went to the wrong doctors office one day. However we did end up driving past the most incredible looking park. So we had to go check it out. I'm just saying, this my be one of my favorites yet. The one in Nashville is still number one on my list but this is a close second.

Zoom Sacrament. Such a strange church experience but so grateful that we have technology to do these things!

When Jakob cooks an amazing dinner and plates it all fancy on the kids plates. :)

When chores turn into games. Please don't ever grow up!

He's wild.

He also loves to be upside down.

As Roo gets older he is less and less snugly but before nap and bed time he will lay his head on your shoulder for as long as you want and it is my absolute favorite!!

Sprout was so helpful and went and put the garbage's away all on his own!

I got a hammock for me and they have decided it is for them.

She's getting good at climbing.

Sprout: Mama can I go look at the water?
Mama: Yes, but don't get wet, I don't have spare clothes for you.
Sprout: I won't get wet.
... 5 minutes later...
Sprout: Mama, I got wet. I still love you!
I knew he would and I still love you too Sprout!

E made my bed for me and Did an awesome job!!

A girl in a teepee, reading a chapter book! Yes please!!!!!!

Spetember you were good! But OcTobler is my JAM!!!! Bring it on!!
