Zoo Day

Papa was kind enough to let us use his membership and come with us for a date to the zoo. It was a much needed day out of the house!

We asked Sprout which animal he wanted to see and without question he wanted to see tigers. They were sleeping but he was very excited.

We just about had the zoo to ourselves as it was a chilly day.

CHOOOO CHOOOOOO!!!!
Petting the sharks and sting rays.

We rode the carousel a few times.

We conviced Papa to come too.

I could not stop laughing at him sitting on the tiniest Red Panda. ahah

We took Roo to Find Dory. I don't think you could have found a better baby.

It was such a great morning!!! Thanks Papa!

Playing Hookie at the Zoo

After a few crazy weeks at school, I decided that we needed some fun. Papa and Gram were more than happy to help us out in that department so we headed out to the zoo to enjoy some cooler weather and some fresh air.

It was Roo was pretty excited!

The train was a big hit!

And how could you forget the carousel?

An added bonus of having Papa and Gram with us was Papa took all sorts of amazing pictures! Roo got to ride the Roo on the carousel.

This time around I wasn't as crazy. The zoo wasn't nearly as busy which was wonderful but after every activity we all had to have some magic lotion.

 High five penguin!!

We found Dory and Roo was really excited about that too!

Look at those little bums!

Best monkey's a Mama could ask for.

E and her new favorite animal!

The big kids went on the air lift with Papa and Gram for the first time.

While this little man took a noozie.

And then everyone was hungry so we went for lunch. It was a wonderful and much needed adventure! Thank you Papa and Gram for coming with us!

Our First BIG Outing

A friend called and asked if I wanted to go to the zoo with her. The moment she asked my anxiety went through the roof. We have not gone anywhere big since March 13th. For those of you counting, that is 15 weeks. I had to talk crazy Stephanie down a bit. I knew I had to leave the house eventually so why not go have some fun?

The kids were amazing! They were so excited to get out of the house and explore a bit. Man we missed this.

And even though the kids were REALLY good listeners, I wasn't prepared for how anxious I was going to be. Keeping them close, trying to keep them from touching things and stay away from people was exhausting!

Reddrick loved the train.

E's new favorite animal is the Red Panda. I can totally get on board with this choice. They are so dang cute!

The kids were awesome and wore their masks the entire time without complaint and while we had fun, it was different. The world has changed. It made me so sad that something we had once loved so much has been tainted but we are grateful that we got to go out and spend time with friends and have an adventure.
