Our Dallas Dash

Red eye flights kick your butt but lucky for me I have two expert fliers (alright, and some drugs, drugs help) so they slept the whole flight. When we got to Jeff and Amy's we crashed and we crashed hard. Thanks for keeping the house so quiet Amy, that must have been a difficult feat!

Once we were up it was PLAY TIME!! These two little ladies sure were excited to have their Gramma with them!

It was a full house!

Since Jeff is a dentist, Jakob asked if he would be able to squeeze him in to get some work done. Jakob knew he had a cavity so he headed in thinking he would just get a filling. Turns out he needed 6 fillings!

Then Jeff got creative. Jeff has made a few comments about Jakob's teeth in the past and since he had him in the chair he was more than willing to use his talents to fix him up.

Two brand new front teeth!! They look so nice, and while Jakob said at first it felt as though Jeff had put two Chiclets in his mouth, they now feel normal and he looks very dashing. Thanks Jeff!

Since Jakob had some extra work done it meant that Jakob and Mom were gone longer than expected which meant I got to have some quality time with Amy. It was so nice to sit and visit and hear about what they have going on in life. They just built a new house and it was so fun to explore and admire.

Plus these little ladies didn't stop playing once (aside from nap time). It was fun fun fun!

In the morning the ladies had a tea party.

Seriously so cute! I also can't believe how tall Presley is! E is on her tippy toes, and P is only 3 months older!

Then it was trampoline time!

Alright it's not my best photoshop work, but seeing as how it is a picture from a phone I didn't want to spend hours on it. I think you get the jist anyways. ;)

Then it was time for us to load up and head to Houston.  We had such a wonderful time in Dallas! Thank you so much Jeff and Amy for having us. E keeps asking when she can see Presley again. I wish we lived closer, those two are adorable together! Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

We loaded up ready for the 6(ish) hour drive when the chaos began. I borrowed these little booster seats from my friend Gretchen. They are supposed to lower the seat bat to the child's lap instead of lifting them up. And since we were flying from Kc to Vegas (where mom had car seats), then from Vegas to Dallas (where we needed car seats) something that could fit in my backpack sounded amazing. Well it worked well for E. She was very cooperative and sat nicely in her seat, but Manfred started screaming the second I buckled him in. It was quickly decided that we needed to find a Wal-Mart so we could get a five point harness for him.

We installed the car seat and he went in without a peep, and fell asleep within the next five minutes. So worth it!

And THEN we were off! Houston here we come!
