We didn't do many fun things in September aside from survive school, but I did take a lot of random pictures on my phone. So here's this months phone favorite round up.
He's starting to fall asleep in my arms less and less and it's breaking my heart a little bit.
I love home church. Jakob and I got off track a little bit over the summer once the ward started zooming sacrament meeting. We would watch sacrament and call it good. We then decided that that wasn't nearly enough, so we began having lessons again and boy did I miss them.
I mean can you even with Duke's baptism picture??? Be still my heart! Love these babes!
We went to see the surgeon this month about getting Sprout's Estropia in both of his eyes fixed. Looks like that is the plan and we are looking at him going in in February. Sprout was really excited about getting and toy car and some basketball cards from the hospital while he was there.
I wanted to try stripes again and after going to the sunflower field I was feeling like a sunflower cake would be perfect. They are better than last time, but I still need to practice.
After an amazing summer full of swimming, Papa shut down the pool this month. We are so sad, but are counting down the seconds until the pool opens back up again.
Sprout digging outside with his shovel. I was laughing so hard while I took this picture. This boy is hilarious!
Sprout and his Wee-waa Stick. I don't even know why it's named that but this stick is special and has a name.
I finally got around to painting some tulips for my Mama that she requested months ago. There is an upside to having to sit beside Duke all day.... Lots of reading and water colors.
Art is hard. That is all.
Sprout and I accidentally went to the wrong doctors office one day. However we did end up driving past the most incredible looking park. So we had to go check it out. I'm just saying, this my be one of my favorites yet. The one in Nashville is still number one on my list but this is a close second.
Zoom Sacrament. Such a strange church experience but so grateful that we have technology to do these things!
When Jakob cooks an amazing dinner and plates it all fancy on the kids plates. :)
As Roo gets older he is less and less snugly but before nap and bed time he will lay his head on your shoulder for as long as you want and it is my absolute favorite!!
Mama: Yes, but don't get wet, I don't have spare clothes for you.
Sprout: I won't get wet.
... 5 minutes later...
Sprout: Mama, I got wet. I still love you!
I knew he would and I still love you too Sprout!
