February Phone Favorites

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? We are already 1/4 of  the way done 2016?!?! I think someone needs to invent that PAUSE button right. now! February was crazy and happy and we were just busy being us. Here are a few of our Phone Favorites.

I'm not sure if he's baby wearing or just got the whole back pack thing a bit backwards but he was so excited!

One afternoon Jakob came home for lunch so that I could get groceries. (This whole one car things is a bummer sometimes!) I left him in a bit of a wild home and then I came back to this. Toys Everywhere! Pillows, blankets, and then groceries to top it off. It was hilarious. 

Date night to celebrate Becca's birthday! Sushi... it was an experience!

For the last few days E has been climbing into my bed in the morning and we like to get our snuggle on! She starts my day off just right!

Jakob and I rarely fight. I mean we have a tiff maybe once a year. So a few weeks ago we had a tiff. It was silly and pointless and I was feeling horrible. He had a late class that night and when he came home he had Thai food. Which made me feel even more guilty. This man, ladies, he is the best ever! 

I think someone is starting to be a bit OCD.

Manny's Hair

It's been about 9 months since we last cut Manny's hair and gosh darn it he looks cute! For church on Sunday we tried slicking it back.

He looked beyond cute! 

Now that it's warming up we will shave it all off but we may just try to rock out a huge mohawk first!

Daddy Daughter Date

One afternoon E asked me what a date was. I told her that is was when a boy and a girl went out together to do something special just the two of them. She sat for a minute and then asked "Can Daddy take me on a date?!" So we stopped right then and there to see if Daddy would go on a date with E. He was happy too and they were both so excited! 

Friday night Jakob got home from work and they went out to "their" pizza place and then out for ice cream. He then asked her what else she wanted to do and she said "I'm good, we can go home now." Maybe when it's warmer they'll go to the park. I just love these two and the special bond they have. It makes my heart happy!

Selfies

One of E's favorite things to do is take selfies. Smiling ones, happy ones but mostly silly ones. 

Lately we have discovered snap chat. We have four friends and E loves making silly faces and using the different filters. So silly and so many sweet giggles I sure do love this funny girls personality!

E's Birthday

E's Birthday Eve! My last night with my sweet three year old. It was so bitter sweet. Time is passing by entirely too fast.  

 The next morning E woke up just as excited as could be! We made the day all about her and she couldn't have been happier. The morning started off with phone calls from lost of family!

Then we made some Hello Kitty cupcakes!

I told E that she could do pretty well anything for her birthday her eyes lit up and she excitedly asked if we could go to Daddy's office for lunch! It was so dang cute! So we grabbed some happy meals and headed out to Daddy's office! 

Daddy also gave her a toy turtle and she was so happy!

She got to open a present before nap time! Such a beautiful mermaid from Oma!

Once we woke up it was time for dance class. E got a birthday certificate from Miss Becca and a bounce ball from the treasure chest! We also brough cupcakes to share! She was so cute!

Then we came home to sing happy birthday and have more cupcakes. 

And presents before bed. She just loved her Sofia the First dress. 

And she was super excited about her tree change doll that looked like her (or Elsa!) She thought the boots were fantastic! Thanks so much Aunt Janet and Uncle Chad!! You spoiled this little girl! 

(Uncle Chad made some boots for E's doll using a 3D printer. Yeah, we have the coolest Uncles EVER!

Happy Birthday my sweet four year old! We love you so very much! Thank you for being our sweet sunshine! May this year be filled with laughter, adventure and joy as you grow and discover more of the world around you! I am so very blessed to be your Mama and you make me a better person every day!
