Santa in a Fish Tank - Santa Photos

Oh my goodness. 2020, you do not disappoint. Santa in a fish tank, behind glass it's so sad but I really couldn't think of a better Santa photo to represent the year.

Behind the scenes of what it takes to get good pictures haha. Our friends Porter and Carlie Ellett.

It's a good one. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. This is a favorite tradition of mine. Here's a throw back from the past years.

I know I was in DuPont for Christmas in 2008 & I arrived on Christmas Eve so Jakob and I don't have a picture together, but I don't remember if we took one as van den Berge's that year. So here's out first married Christmas in 2009.

Now this is where the years get blurry.
I Think this is 1998 and the beginning of the themed outfits.

1997?

1996 (?) or possibly '97 again. I did wear that dress for several years.

I'm pretty sure this is Jared's First Christmas in 1993.

And 1992. Chris's Second Christmas.

This tradition makes me smile!

Oma's Last Day

It was Oma's final day and so we had to make sure it was fun! We headed off to the farm for the first time this year. We love the farm! The little school house is so darling.

Sprout loves cows! He was so excited to to see a baby cow.

Then we fed the baby goats. Sprout was a bit nervous.

The kid stole his bottle, it was rather funny.

E wanted nothing to do with the goats, but Duke was a pro!

I found a cute little bonnet for E to try on.... she was not impressed.

Then we fed the big goats.

Oma was so sweet and got the kids ice cream. So picture perfect!

It was a fun morning adventure! We sure do love our Oma and we are so thankful for all that she did to help with the tiny humans, the house and our projects. I am going to miss having you here!

Swimming

Most days while Oma was here we would run errands in the morning and then go swimming in afternoon. And here are WAY too many pictures of summer swimming and I don't even feel bad about it. :)

This little girl said she was done with her life jacket and she was not kidding. She has been practicing her swimming and her diving. She is amazing!

There was a ton of jumping and Oma was such a good sport catching all the kids!

Duke was terrified of jumping but after awhile he was a pro!

Peanut was just tall enough to ride the slide and she loved it!

Oma was kind enough to get them sweet treats.

Look who's jumping all by himself!?!

Sun tanning? He was this close to falling asleep.

Oh sweet summer time!
