March Phone Favorites

March was a bit chaotic. I felt like I had 1,000,000 things to do, yet life was a bit slow. So contradictory. Here is a round up of March Phone Favorites.

The kids have gotten into reading books again. E was so cute sitting on the kitchen floor reading to duke while I made some dinner.

Having a good eye day.

E and Moana.

All ready for church!

The last thing I usually paint on my peg people is their eyes. And of course... I messed up Thor... BAD! I was almost in tears. Thankfully I was able to save him... for the most part.

Manny rocking Daddy's headband.

Talk about comfortable!

I love a good sunrise!

Another one of our activites this month was playing swat the color. Duke is really trying to work on his colors, and the kids LOVED this game!

Snuggles with my boy!

E's map! I was so proud of her. Aside from switching up Vegas and Canada, so we pretty darn accurate with locations, which I think is purely coincidence since we haven't really looked at a map. Then she wanted to name the roads and streets but got a bit burnt out after Pa, Grammy, Jeff, Amy and Presley.

Bear with his hair slicked back. He was soooooo cute, but wouldn't pose for a picture to save his life.

We tried the nose strips. Which was pretty fun, I'm excited to try it again after a long hot shower to really open up those pours.

This kid comes home from school like this! Such a boy!

Scrubbing baseboards, and doors beofre Oma arrives. Such awesome helpers!

What is currently on my chalkboard.

I got new glasses and I LOVE them!

The face someone makes when they are driving their remote control car for the first time. Pure bliss!

This is the first time in 2 years that she has worn a shirt. I was amazed. She looked so different without a dress on.

We have transitioned E from "nap time" to quiet time where she has to play in the play room while Duke naps. It's a bit difficult for her. The first few days she was really excited about it, but now she comes out every half an hour to ask fro something. But sometimes she falls asleep all cuddled up nice a cozy.

This little guy has fallen asleep in my arms twice this week. He has been a bit under the weather and he will gladly come lay with me. Within minutes he's asleep. I am loving the extra snuggle time we get. I know that it will be a bit more irregular come the 14th of April.

And that's a wrap on March. How are we four months into 2017 already? Only two more weeks until little man arrives and oh my gracious those 14 days are going to FLY!!!

Oma's Visit

We were so excited to have Oma come for her spring break. The timing was perfect so we could get some last minute shopping done for the baby and work on a few projects. Unfortunately, Oma tweaked her back the day before her arrival and I pulled a muscle while I was cleaning. We were both a hot mess, so all of the projects I had in mind got tossed out the window. It also ended up raining the entire week so our outdoor plans got cancelled as well. Do you think we let that stop us? No, we did a lot of relaxing and shopping (and who doesn't love that?!)

E helped Oma put on her shoes. What a good helper.

Movie night including popcorn, blankets and pillows. Oma hadn't seen Moana and the kids were more than happy to watch it for the 200th time. :)

Oma took E shopping for her birthday present and E was over the moon excited. It's pretty much all she talked about for DAYS! While we were at the store Manny got a present too, a Lightning McQueen remote control car. The picture doesn't show it but he was head over heels in LOVE!

Thank you so much Oma! You spoil us!

Silly faces!

Oma really worked on colors with Duke while she was here. She had him name all of the colors of eggs and then she filled up the eggs with M&M's. Duke was pretty excited and very involved!

Then they went on a Bear hunt to attack Mama. It was hilarious!

As mentioned before the kids love to play doctor/ dentist. Oma was a very nice patient. She opened her mouth a let them stick their tools in there (something that Mama and Daddy won't do.)

She had at least 6 teeth pulled, not to mention surgery in her tummy to take out bugs, 4 vaccinations, and pulling out slivers from all over her body.

Oma was such a good patient!

The next day Oma and the kiddos made rolls!

Enjoying the final product!

One afternoon we went to IKEA. It is one of my favorite places to let the kids get some energy out. Duke has started a tradition of opening every single fridge in the every home display and in the kitchen department. Totally on the hunt for food and it makes me laugh every time.

Silly ladies!

On Oma's last day we went to the mall and rode the carousel.

E picked a very pretty horse!

Manny and I went and sat at the top deck. We had such a great week despite the universe trying to ruin all of our plans. We were busy and got a lot done! Thank you so much for coming to visit us Oma! We love you dearly and are so thankful for you and for your help!

Puddle Jumping

As mentioned before, it has been raining here for the last 3 weeks! I feel as though I live in Seattle. with all this rain it was time to jump in some puddles. Here are way too many pictures of children experiencing pure joy!

Moments like these make my heart burst with joy! I sure do love these two!
