Such a wonderful helper!!!
Daddy went shooting one Saturday and we needed groceries, for once it wasn't 1000° outside so we all walked/ rode to Aldi.
Sprouts first day of Nursery. He was admitted one month early because he was that distracting during our classes that the primary president (a good friend of ours) said he had to be ejected. So off to nursery he went. I'm not complaining! The only time he cried was when Mama was taking his picture. He's getting SO BIG!
Speaking of SO BIG, E had another talk this week and she read it all by herself. I had a parent teacher conference with her teacher and she said that E is reading at a third grade level and that I need to be challenging her more. She also said that she is ready for second grade math. Way to go Peanut! You're a rock star!
I have been reading my scriptures every day for quite awhile now. I have never read the Book of Mormon before and I figured it was about darn time! Sometimes I slip and forget, but it's a rarity. The Sister I minister with gave this quote our to the ladies we visit and it says "One of God's greatest gifts to us is the JOY of trying again. For no failure ever need be FINAL. - Thomas S. Monson. I Love this quote. I fail, A LOT!But I love having the joy to trying again. This just feels so applicable to my scripture study throughout my life and now I'm fixing that failure and it is bringing me so much joy!
Sprout thinks this swing is for him.... it's not.
Our next door neighbor wasn't home to play. E came home and I asked where Duke was, she said he was sitting on the step waiting for her to come home. Low and behold there he was and it just broke my heart. I so love this boy!
Sprout got a concussion. He was standing on the chair and he fell off of it while Jakob and I were watching him, he then promptly passed out. He came to in my arms and then fell right asleep. Our YW president is an ER doctor and so I called her and she told me what to watch for. So scary.
Hearing tests and screening for this boy. And no, I didn't see the no picture sign until AFTER I took the picture. Oops.
When you're trying to take a selfie and you have the cutest little photobomber! And that's a wrap on September. Happy OcTobler people!!!! It is officially my favorite month bring on the pumpkins, leaves, fresh air, and costumes!!!!
