7/11

 The day after Grammy and Pa left Oma flew in!! We are so happy that she is here!! We had to celebrate by heading out to 7/11 for our free Slurpee's!! 

Free Slurpee's and Oma! Let the summer fun continue!

The Beach and Cow Appreciation Day

WE decided to hit up the beach at the lake here in KC and the kids just loved it!

The water was only about neck height for me standing up, but that was good enough for the kids!

And even though the sand wasn't like the ocean the kids had a blast digging around and getting all messy! 

Allllllll the summertime feels!!!

Sprout loves to swim with Oma!

We came home, had naps and were off to Chick-Fil-A for Cow Appreciation Day!

 Sprout with his little tail was just to die for!

 This time of year is really busy for Daddy at work so I was really grateful to have Oma here to do all the fun things with!!!

The next day was 7/11 and we had to get our free SLURPEE!!!! 

Best week ever! Don't worry, we have another great deal coming in our next post!!!

7/11

 

 7/11 is a holiday in our house! I really should make a wreath or something. We had friends coming over so we all loaded up to get our free Slurpee's! The kids were pretty excited! 

 

 

 Okay Mama was pretty excited too! When I was preggers with Duke these we ALL I wanted. I love Slurpee's

 Later that day E asked if we could go again with Daddy. Unfortunately he had to work late so we loaed up again and hit up another 7/11. p.s. E's outfit literally kills me. LOL!

 It was a very sugar filled day and we are counting down the days until next year!

Happy Freaking 7/11 folks! I seriously write this down on my calendar each year! It's a BIG deal to me. Next year I just might have to go buy myself one of those t-shirts!

 E was super excited to go get a "rainbow" Slurpee. 

 She picked all of her flavors and was pretty proud of herself. 

 This little man was pretty excited too, so much so that his got taken away because he wouldn't keep the straw in the cup until he got home. Poor boy. 

 The perfect family holiday!

 Now off to the pool!!!!!

7/11

In my mind 7/11 is in fact a holiday. One of these days I will get a Slurpee Day t-shirt but until then I will just enjoy this glorious holiday with our family. Mom, Dad and I rounded up the kids an headed over to 7/11 for our free slurpee's. E was so excited! 

We were there 1/2 hour before it all ended and the line was rather long which meant that all of the slurpee's were a bit running. No matter, that didn't stop us! E was so happy to have a "slurp" with a "blue saw!" 

Duke Manfred was so upset that I wouldn't let him hold his own cup in the car. He wanted Slurpee just like everyone else.

Mmmm! I seriously, I love this day!!

Until next year 7/11! hopefully Texas (or where we are next July does free Slurpee's!!

Seven Eleven

 Happy 7/11 aka FREE SLURPEE DAY! It doesn't get much better than free Slurpee's. (Okay Tropical Smoothie flip flop day was fabulous!) I have been craving Slurpee's like crazy!! Pregnancy Craving + Free = Bliss!

 Peanut and I went for our first free Slurpee with Aunt Amy. Ethnie was pretty excited. She shared with Mama. We were all about the Strawberry Lemonade.

 Then before we headed out to our ward potluck we had to grab another round with Daddy. (Don't worry we went to a different establishment.) This time Peanut got her own.

 Mmmmm mmmm.

 Sometimes you just need to have two at once and Daddy was a good sport and shared! We had a fabulous Seven Eleven! I hear that on August 6th if you say you want to attend Hogwarts at A&W they will give you a free root beer float? Not sure how valid that one is but if it's true I am sending Jakob out for one!! :)
