June Phone Favorites

Oh June!!! How did you go by so quickly?! June was fast and full of SO much fun!!! Here are a few phone favorites.

Elephant needed to be "buckled safe" too.

Such a cute little train and Sprout all up in Pa's booty :)

Pa and I went on a date. Our first stop was In n Out and then Crumbl Cookies for dessert! So dang excited.

So many yummy choices!!

They were warm, fresh from the oven and incredible!!! then Pa and I went to pick out his Father's Day gift. It was a fun afternoon!

My friend Jenna got to come by. She lives across the street from Mom and Dad which is just amazing! We had matching bumps which was fun too! She is 38 week preggers and I'm 18.

She is so little and I just love it. So dang cute!! We had a great time visiting. I love her!

Donuts round two. We cut them to share, if only sacrament was donuts!

So sad to be leaving Vegas....

... but so excited to go and see Daddy after 4 weeks!!

Sprout did such a good job flying, but he fell asleep right as we were landing. I took the collapsible wagon through the airport and it was AMAZING!!!!! For the most part we simply put our backpacks in it and the kids pushed/ pulled it which helped keep everyone together and meant I didn't have to carry so many treasures while preggers. But while Sprout was sleeping we just laid him down and everyone wore their backpacks. It was perfect!

Daddy and I got to go on a date night to a play! It was so nice to go out without the littles especially on the company's dime.

We went and saw Beautiful, and while we were absolutely the youngest people in the audience, it was such a good show! We had no idea what it was about but we were pleasantly surprised. And that's a wrap on June. CRAZY!!!! July is full of so many fun things I just know it's going to fly by too. Summer will be over before we know it.

Lacrosse

After 11 long years Jakob was finally able to dust off his lacrosse gear and get back out on the field! He was beyond excited!

He signed up with our friend Matt from church and that made it just that much better! They were definitely the old guys on the team, but they were so gosh darn happy it didn't even matter.

We missed his first two games because we were in Vegas but we were SO excited to go watch Daddy play and hit some people. He had a pretty adorable cheering section.

Sprout is obsessed with all things sports and he thought his Daddy was the coolest!

One day I showed up to the game with a telephoto lens to take super creepy pictures of Jakob playing. there were other people who came to watch but Laura and I were the only ones with children and I was totally "that wife" taking pictures and cheering way too loud.

Here are a few too many pictures of him playing.

These pictures don't do that sunset justice either.

This was a picture that one of the professionals took of Jakob.

Their team wasn't the best but they won their last game and it was SO FUN!!

It was a fun season that went by way too fast and Jakob had a blast! Jakob managed to come through the season uninjured which was an added bonus as well. :) We are looking forward to fall and watching him play indoor lacrosse.

Baby Brother!

With baby #4 we decided to keep things low key. I had wanted to have Jakob come to the ultrasound to find out how most people do, but he had a meeting he just couldn't get out of and so I went alone with the three kids. We decided to still put it in an envelope, and I asked the kids how they wanted to find out. E chose cupcakes. So once Daddy got home he and I opened the envelope together, which was fun and then I made up some cupcakes for the kids.

3, 2, 1...... IT'S A BOY!!!!

Duke was a bit disappointed, he wanted a little sister to love so badly! I was also pretty convinced that this was a little girl so it was a surprise for me too!!

It didn't take him long to smile. We are so excited to have this little boy join our family!! E is our little Mama hen and she is pretty excited too!

I love ultrasounds! It was extra fun seeing our little man with his siblings. Our sweet boy was extremely cooperative and took some really good pictures for us!

He was yawning and swallowing and had a good case of the wiggles.

Look at that pointy little nose!

Baby feet! Looks like we may have another flat footed child. :)

My favorite part of the whole ultrasounds was at the end. The kids were SO well behaved that the ultrasound tech let each child use the machine and take their own picture! They were SO excited!! E got a fun shot of his muscles, Sprout got a face shot, and Duke got a picture of his face and his tummy. Such a sweet thing for her to do, it really made the kids day.

Now the battle for baby names begins. We have NO CLUE what we are going to name this little guy so that should be fun :). So excited to meet this little guy. You are so loved!

Fun at Home

While most of our pictures are of us racing around, we did have a lot of home time too which mostly consisted of children playing in the back yard. Here's a few pictures from our day to day.

Duke rocking the Golden Knights helmet.

Hair cuts!

I think Sprout is cross eyed. Sometimes it's pretty bad, like in this picture and other times he's totally fine. I do wonder if it's a big deal given the fact that this kid can sink hoops and hit baseballs like no other, but it's still something we will get checked out once we get home.

Slip n slides and water fight to boot!!!
Sprout "digging." The mess was photographed, quickly cleaned and the tree was promptly moved to another corner of the house.

Pout Pout Fish game. Duke's reading has really improved this summer!

Music time with Pa. I think Duke will be our musical one. He was all about clapping along and making some music on drums while Pa played.

He even sat through all of band practice and danced and sat quietly while he drummed away.

 There was food prep.

 Such great helpers.

Sprout eating bread products. This is a BIG deal people!!

Peanut making some cookies. She is going to be an excellent baker!

 Sometimes we would just pretend.

E wanted to do an experiment, Pa was a good sport!

Watering the turtle.

Pa rescuing a marble!

Sig is growing!!

So much fun at Grammy and Pa's. I really need to work on my backyard it has been so wonderful just shooing them out the door to play and they LOVE it!
