Paul and Terry invited to come kayaking with them up in St. George and Mom and I couldn't have said yes fast enough. We loaded up the kiddos and made the drive. We knew that it would be a bit cooler up at the reservoir, but it was 53 degrees. SO COLD!!! Good thing we brought some jackets, but I wasn't keen on jumping in the water ;).

Grammy and Peanut. I love this picture. It's hard to capture the moment with a phone when you can't see the screen because it's so bright, it's more of a you get what you get and just hope for the best. :). this one makes my heart happy.
I've never kayaked before but it was pretty user friendly. It was a bit tricky to paddle with a two year old who insisted he could do it on his own. I was impressed with how strong he was though!
Back at the bank the kids were busy playing with cousins and making creations out of dirt.
Ross went fishing and came back with a few fish. I told him I had never caught a fish and so off we went. I had a kids size Spiderman fishing pole and the fish were out to play!! Mom came by with Duke and they saw me catch my first fish! I was so excited!!
After about an hour I had caught four fish and Ross had caught a great deal more. It was a lot of fun!
When I came back E was in her own kayak and she was KILLING it! I was so impressed with how well she was steering.
Duke had Aidan pulling hi around for awhile but eventually we just tied a rope on him to pull him back once he got stuck. It was a pretty fabulous arrangement.
On our way home we stopped by the temple to show E. E is very interested in temples and she was pretty impressed. It was such a fun adventure and totally worth my SUPER sunburned legs. I've never had a sunburn like that before. Ouch Ouch this is what summer memories are made of!
