Toasty Warm

 It has been hot here in Vegas and I mean hot! We got up to 117°F today, so Mom Tobler decided to try cooking on the pavement. She tried smores and Eggs. E was a wonderful helper. :)

The result: It is so dry here in Vegas that the chocolate didn't melt is simply dried up. Now that's hot. It wasn't exactly a success but it was a fun experiment and E enjoyed snacking on marshmallows, crackers and chocolate.

Maternity Shoot

We had the wonderful opportunity of taking our maternity photos with Let it Shine Photography. This was Jenna's last shoot before she takes a "picture break" and we were she lucky that she could do it for us! 

We headed out the the boardwalk at Red Rock. It was 117° during the day so we waited until the sun had just about set and it was a crisp 109°. Even through the heat and chaos of having a very mobile Ethnie, Jenna was able to capture some fabulous pictures! Here are some of our favorites :) Ready for a picture overload?

Snip Snip

 It was time for Peanut's first hair cut. Jakob gave me the ultimatum: either I let Mom cut it or he would go at it while I wasn't looking. I knew she would be bald if I let him anywhere near her so Mom Tobler it was. 

I must admit it was getting pretty shaggy. The little tuffs on the side and her fabulous mullet. So we settled on a "clean up job." It's hard for a Mama to let her little girls locks get snipped. 

 Armed with some Fruit Loops Gramma set to work on a very wiggly Peanut. 

 Then it was time for the back... a little bit trickier. 

 How many Toblers does it take to distract an Ethnie?

Don't worry, there were only a few hairs in the cereal box. I don't have very good before & after shots but let's just say she looks a lot cleaner. Her hair looks thicker and it's no longer in her eyes. Thanks Gramma!

Summer Love

 What's been keeping us busy this summer? Morning yard sales...

 ...Bi Weekly ward potlucks, amongst other church responsibilities...

 ...Finding ways to keep cool and combat teething at the same time....

 ... Soaking up some sun and enjoying time with Aunt Amy before she moves in a month and a half. So sad! ...

... And enjoying some summer time freebies and coupons! If you wore flip flops to Tropical Smoothie they gave you a free drink! Can't beat that! I'm loving summer. It's a little bit warm when you're just about 8 months pregnant but Peanut and I are savoring it while we can! Hope your summer is as wonderful as ours! 

It's Happened...

 After much deliberating I've finally opened my own Etsy shop!! (follow link under the banner) I am pretty excited about it! For the most part I will be selling newborn hats/ photography props along with little hair bows for your princesses. Since I really enjoy crafting I figured I'd just craft at my leisure and sell what I've made as opposed to taking orders. We'll see how things go.
