Our Little Peanut is getting so big and independent! There has been a lot of shopping going on and E is just loving being pushed around and doted on by strangers. This was her first time standing up in the cart and she couldn't have been happier. What a princess.

Baby Jesus
While I was putting away all of our Christmas decor Ethnie, was of course, helping. I set down one of the little nativities and she began to play. As I started placing the pieces back into the box I noticed that one key piece was missing... baby Jesus. I looked at Ethnie and asked her where he was. She had seriously been playing with him for less than 30 seconds. I put my hand out and she promptly opens her little mouth and spits baby Jesus into my hand. What a sweet girl. Poor baby Jesus.

Snow
Since Mom and Dad had rented an SUV while they were here I wanted to go up the mountain to take some pictures of E in the snow. I would like to let everyone know that most times pictures do not turn out the way we want. I do capture a few precious moments in an attempt to recreate something I've seen online somewhere. This adventure however was an epic fail.
This is what we were going for.... so cute!
This is what we got. Shallow snow, sad crying baby, and a horrible camera angle. FAIL! Funny, but a fail. There is always next winter in Canada.
Oma saved her and started to run away from "Mean Mommy who makes you take a ridiculous amount of pictures." I won't deny it.
Once we got her smiling a bit we tried to show her the snow.
She wasn't a fan. Most of the time she just bawled. That's what I get for skipping naps in pursuit of pictures. Poor thing. I had to get at least one use out of her snow suit!

Blue Man
I had the awesome opportunity to go and see Blue Man Group and meet one of my cousins on my Father's side. Shelby is hilarious and we hit it off right away! We had a great time running around Vegas.
Blue Man Group was funny. It was quite the party. Thanks for taking us Mom and Dad! P.s Jakob was there too he just didn't want to take pictures. :)

Our Second Christmas
My parents arrived from California on the 26th and we got to have Christmas round II. Oma brought Ethnie a ton of cute outfits. I just love these little P.J's.
E wasted NO time opening presents. She knew what this was all about and this time she didn't have any competition. ;).
The Grandparents each got a little hand print of Ethnie's.
While my Mom was helping me put a few of the outfits E had outgrown into storage she asked me if she even got to wear them. I had to inform her that Ethnie has so many dresses that she could only wear each one once so I could have her wear all of them. Not to say we aren't grateful but Oma stopped purchasing clothes for E after that. Her closet is full!
Jakob got a drill and a gun from me. Finally a drill with a cord. Ahh! Jakob got me a fancy flash for my camera and I love, love, love it!
Great-Grandma Heyden got E a sing-a-long CD and book. This will be prefect for next year since she loves to "sing" with me. It was a wonderful finale to our Christmas season. *Woo!* What a blast!

Merry Christmas!
Christmas morning started out quiet as we waited for everyone to slowly crawl out of bed. The calm before the excitement!
One little girl wanted to get an early start.
Vi was the last to get up but she was eager to show everyone what Santa had left!
Good Morning Daddy!
Santa left the girls a letter and Sebastian shared some of his cookies with them. Vi was scouting out which present she wanted to open first. On your mark...
Get set...
GO!
Ethnie was seriously spoiled by Aunt Janet and Uncle Chad! Thank you so much Tia and Tio!
We gave Gramma and Grampa their gift in Vegas but then I found some birds. Just what Mom was looking for! Score!
I was so beyond excited once I found out Janet was having a boy! This meant I could give her some new goodies for her little man! I was also super excited to use some ideas I found on Pinterest. I made Tie and regular burpies, (I'm sure all new mothers could use fresh burpies!), a winter and summer car seat canopy, some monthly stickers (I have loved seeing E grow each month! Personally this is a must have gift!)...
... and the best one of all! A "These fools put my cape on backwards." bib! I just love it!
I couldn't just leave Chad out of the loop. I saw this little leather jacket and had to have it! Those two are going to look awesome in their matching leather! After all, all the Tobler boys have leather jackets. :)
And since Chad is always working on something I figured his little man would need a tool belt of his own. Lucia is the perfect little model!
I was so surpirsed to see how excited E would get to unwrap presents! She was totally loving it! She would take off every last piece of paper. It was so precious!
Too many toys!
The girls got a play house from Santa! It's a good thing we had to go back home the next day, they didn't like E playing with it and little Ethnie just LOVED it.
The grand finale was a wedding dress "Just my size!" from "Santa."
She was so pretty. Santa you have outdone yourself!
Some DE-LICIOUS pancakes courtesy of Grampa and Gramma! So good!
The rest of our day was spent playing, socializing, setting up a tent and working on a puzzle. Houston has the strangest weather. Never have I ever seen the sun shine, it hail, rain, and had the power go out , while the A/C was still going. I mean really, it was odd.
Jakob and I were in charge of dinner. With a fabulous assist (heck she did almost everything) from Mom Tobler! Most festive meal? No, but it sure tested wonderful!
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope yours was just as wonderful as ours! May the true meaning of Christmas stay in your hearts!

Christmas Eve
Our Christmas Eve was just perfect. We started out by singing Blue Christmas to Great- Gramma Palmer. Merry Christmas Great- Gramma! We sure do love you!
We then headed out to go caroling to the neighbors. We were quite the pack.
Vi and Lucy stood at the door ringing their bells as we sang Jingle Bells and We Wish you a Merry Christmas. One family started to record us and take pictures on their phones. It was a fun way to meet some neighbors
.
What a fun family!
Here's Lucia saying "HO HO HO!" It was too cute!
While the girls headed in for a bath, E and I took some pictures. I couldn't get enough of how stinking cute she was!
"Santa are you up there?"
While the boys were out runing they discovered this Grapefruit tree and brought some home. It was delicious. Grampa gave some to E and she couldn't get enough of it!
Yum yum!
The girls put out some cookies for both Santa and their Elf Sebastian. Then Gramma had a present for everyone to open.
It was Mr. Krueger's Christmas. That movie makes me cry every time. It was a perfect video to watch on Christmas Eve. Thank you Gramma and Grampa! Violet reenacted the nativity for us on her white board before bed. It was so precious. The little ones went down and Santa's elves went right to work. It was the prefect Christmas Eve. Everything is so much more magical when you have kids. Best Christmas EVER!
