March Phone Favorites

Whoops I forgot to post my phone favorites from March. Here are a few of my favs.

Note: when going for a walk, one feet must be free from the blanket at all times!!

After months of watching the play doh lady on YouTube opening Kinder Surprise Eggs in her videos E finally got to open one! She was beyond excited!! Opa and Oma brought down some jumbo ones and inside was a Tinkerbell toy a little bit bigger than her magic clip dolls! She was pretty stoked. I'll be buying a few more when I go home this Christmas!

I try to stay away from being to preachy. Everyone knows I'm LDS but I really feel uncomfortable throwing my religion at people. I find it disrespectful to those who are not of our faith. I really had to share this scripture that spoke to me though. Jakob and I have been praying earnestly for a job. It has really been a trying time in our lives. Every night before bed we open the scriptures and read a random verse and one evening this is the verse that we stumbled upon in Alma. It really spoke to me and I knew that it was an answer to prayers. We need to put our faith in Him and keep working hard. Everything will work out in the end.

We made it back to Costco and E was over the moon!!

I'm just snuggling with my bunny Mommy.

I had my first ever ladies night here in Nashville. These ladies are a hoot and I laughed so hard I cried. Thanks for being such supportive friends ladies! (From left to right: Jami, Bre, myself and Kris.)

A super sunny picture but we are all dressed up in our festive St. Patty's day outfits.

Funny story behind this picture. Once upon a time I was headed to Jo-Ann's for some essential supplies. As we were whisking through the isles looking for fabric E saw this little girl and they started jumping and playing. They chased each other up and down the isles and that was it... instant friendship. I saw her mom and we started chatting. As we were saying goodbye she said "Hey would it be weird if I got your phone number and we set up a play date?" All E could talk about that afternoon was Zoey and I was so glad that we got her number. We had a Zoo date and once again they were inseparable! It was the cutest! Turns out Amber (Zoey's mom) is a hoot too!!

Spring time in Nashville. I know I posted about it before but seriously... I am in love!

I took the kids outside one day to get some much needed sunshine. It didn't end so well for Manfred. He attacked a bush and the bush won then he jumped off of a ledge while I was gathering up the toys to come inside and split his lip. Poor kid.

Duke is all about saying cheeeese to the camera. I can't get enough of this sweet boy!

Nothing better than forts!

Except for snuggling in those forts!!

Another much needed day in the sunshine!!

Snuggling with her toys while watching a show. So stinking cute!

Making princesses dresses for the tiger out of quesadilla!

My little man with his new hair cut! He looks all grown up!!! March was super fun! I can't believe we only have one more month until school is done!

A Few Pictures that Make Me Smile

As any Mama would tell you, time passes too quickly. Being a Mom is the greatest gift I have ever received. It doesn't get much better then this. And while yes, I'll admit, some days you are literally counting down the seconds until nap time you still need to savor those precious moments that are gone too quickly. Here are a few pictures that make me smile.

E snuggling with her Elsa doll from Aunt Kim. This was the day that Opa left and she was really sad for the majority of the day. Elsa was right there to make her smile and snuggle with her though.

Sitting on Daddy while he reads a story from Grammy. I love all of those precious moments Jakob has with our kids. He is such an amazing Father.

 Look at those chubby cheeks.

Seriously, this boy has my heart! I mean, those dimples just make me swoon!

When Jakob attempts to do E's hair. He usually does a pretty good job!

Most days that he does E's hair she will say, "Thanks for the Daddy tail!" (what she calls a pony tail when Daddy does it) and then she'll ask me for an Elsa braid. It cracks me up.

When E's hair is actually done and not halfway falling out like it is in 97% of the pictures I take of her.

Watching this little man eat with utensils. Perhaps it's because he's the baby but in my mind he's still 10 months old. It always amazes me when he does something I think is "too old" for him like emptying the dishwasher or putting trash in the garbage. Here he is licking to bowl clean, which isn't mature but it is hilarious!

One afternoon we made a hammock under the table. I was seriously jealous that I couldn't fit in there! Duke is fearless and is totally willing to try anything!

E on the other hand would rather sleep under the hammock.

Duke taking his eye max experience to a whole new level.

Daddy getting his snuggle on with his most favorite people!

I brought home some balloons and the kids couldn't have been happier. I hate balloons but they kids had a blast with them!

E is getting so much better at taking direction when taking pictures. It is a lot o fun! I love her sweet personality. This girl has got spunk!

There are a few of my favorite pictures from this week. This is my happy place. "The most precious jewels you'll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children."

Our Leprechaun Lucky

One morning the kiddos woke up to a letter from a mysterious guest. We had a leprechaun! I have been wanting to do this since our first year with Eli the Elf.

Our leprechaun was going to play tricks but we decided to make some crafts.

I think this is one of my favorite crafts so far! E's hand is just so stinking cute!!!

The kids woke up to their first prank. Lucky had left the shampoo in the fridge an put the ketchup in the shower!!!

E thought we should make "a leaf" to give lucky. So we made a shamrock.

E was really good about taping the pieces together but wanted nothing to do with pictures since it was for Lucky.

The next day Lucky turned the kids juice green!! (It's usually yellow.) E was a bit skeptical but it tasted really yummy.

What goes better with juice than  shamrock shaped pancakes that are dyed green?

The next day Lucky turned all of our chairs upside down!

The day after that Lucky had to go potty in the middle of the night.

E now asks what color everyone pee is. Funny thing (warning TMI!) is two day later I had to take some drugs that turned my pee red. Poor girl is super confused she really wants to make her pee turn blue. I'm super tempted to drop a few drop of dye to the water next time she goes but I think he mind would explode.

That day we decided to make a trap to see if we could catch Lucky. E put the stickers on, helped me glue the ladder and helped put the rainbow together. That girls loves sparkly shamrocks and rainbows.

Oh and of course we had to have some gold to draw Lucky in!

We set out our trap but Lucky got away. That is one smart Leprechaun. We didn't get her pot of gold but she left us some lucky charms and the shamrock we made for her.

E was a big fan of the lucky charms! It was a fun St. Patty's and I am looking forward to having Lucky come back to visit us again!
