Fun at Home

While most of our pictures are of us racing around, we did have a lot of home time too which mostly consisted of children playing in the back yard. Here's a few pictures from our day to day.

Duke rocking the Golden Knights helmet.

Hair cuts!

I think Sprout is cross eyed. Sometimes it's pretty bad, like in this picture and other times he's totally fine. I do wonder if it's a big deal given the fact that this kid can sink hoops and hit baseballs like no other, but it's still something we will get checked out once we get home.

Slip n slides and water fight to boot!!!
Sprout "digging." The mess was photographed, quickly cleaned and the tree was promptly moved to another corner of the house.

Pout Pout Fish game. Duke's reading has really improved this summer!

Music time with Pa. I think Duke will be our musical one. He was all about clapping along and making some music on drums while Pa played.

He even sat through all of band practice and danced and sat quietly while he drummed away.

 There was food prep.

 Such great helpers.

Sprout eating bread products. This is a BIG deal people!!

Peanut making some cookies. She is going to be an excellent baker!

 Sometimes we would just pretend.

E wanted to do an experiment, Pa was a good sport!

Watering the turtle.

Pa rescuing a marble!

Sig is growing!!

So much fun at Grammy and Pa's. I really need to work on my backyard it has been so wonderful just shooing them out the door to play and they LOVE it!

Turtles

 The turtles are eight!!

Walther is significantly larger than Sig. Mom says that Sig is fussy.

But Sig will let you pet him... and I love that.

They are getting so big!!

Turtles!

Our little reptile children are turning 7 soon!!! That is a little bit difficult to believe!! Walter here is a whopping 10"! I couldn't believe how big they were. They are such social turtles following everyone around the yard.

 Reunited with little Sig again!

 He takes great selfies!

Sig is measuring in at about 7" and is clearly much smaller than Walter! I so totally love these turtles and it at always a highlight to see them every time we visit!!

Turtles

I love going home to see my little reptile children!

This is the first time the kids even noticed them. They liked to say hi and feed them but other than that they were pretty indifferent.

E was pretty cute she ran outside and saw the turtle then came running back in and excitedly said "Mama! I remember Grammy has turtles. You LOVE turtles Mama! Can you really actually take a picture of my and Water (Walter)?"

These turtles like their people. They will follow you allover the yard. Walter is big enough to climb in the house.
The turtles are turning 6 this year! Crazy! Here is Sig measuring in at approx. 7 1/2"

And Walter measruing in at a whopping 9 1/2- 10"

You can totally tell Sig is my turtle. He's a bit crankier, fussy eater but still likes to follow you around. Walter is just happy as can be, eats anything you give him and will follow you like a puppy.

How I missed them, until next year little ones!
