May phone Favorites

 ZOOOOOM! May has come and gone! /yeah folks, we are HALF WAY through 2016! Wowza! Here is a round up of our phone favs for this month! 

 Duke getting a bit OCD and lining up his trucks in the sand box at the park. 

 Clothes are totally optional during dinner here. Bahaha.

Cardboard House

While we were over swimming at Mike and Rosanne's (Mom & Dad's neighbors) they asked if we had any interest in a few wardrobe boxes. Uhhh YES!!!! Oh the possibilities!! That night I set to work!

3 hours later, phase one was complete. With a cupboard to hide treasures a sink with a metal bowl and an emergency back exit.

 After all that I still had three boxes left over so we decided to expand our house... 

Into an open roof phase two, with a tunnel. We sealed up the back tunnel and e put a pillow in there to snuggle with. I also left this roof open so that the A/C could blow through the house (it got pretty hot in there!)

But my favorite part was the ball run! So fun! 

So much fun! 

Once I finished the house E asked if I could make a little house for her Piggies to sleep in. How could I refuse. She then made sure that we added a door knob. She is hilarious! 

Now to get Pa to crawl through the house!!

Our First Few Days in Vegas

 Jakob was taking his big CFA exam and we decided that it would be best for everyone if the kids and I took off to Vegas (you don't have to ask me twice!) So at the crack of dawn, we were off!! My kids are level expert fliers!

 First item of business was to hit up butterfly park!!! 

 Duke found a new favorite activity.... stacking magnets!

 Due to the time change, the kids were usually up at around 6:30 - 7:00 which meant that they usually got to spend some time with Pa before he went to work. Who doesn't love a shake in the morning?

 We went on lots of walks!

 And E made Grammy a flower crown.

 The weather was sooooo nice when we first arrived. high 80's mid 90's, DRY HEAT! For Vegas in May, it was amazing! 

 More monkey's in tree's.

 And there was ice cream.....

 Lots and lots of ice cream. Duke was taking competitive eating who a whole new level. 

I got a new-to-me fit bit which was amazing!!! Mom Tobler handed hers down to me and I love it! I find it quite motivating. I'm feeling pretty fancy. 

 And we had community tub time since Grammy has a big tub! So much fun. We are sad that Grammy and Pa have to go but the party will go on! Have fun at Uncle Clark and Aunt Rachels!!!!

Sunday Fun

I love simple days where things are quiet, your to-do list can be put on hold and you can just enjoy one another. Sunday was just like that. Just perfect. We snuggled with out pants around our neck? Probably the next big fad!

 Then we went outside to lay out in the grass and blow bubbles. 

It was such a nice afternoon!

E's First Dance Recital

Ready for a picture overload? I can't help it she is so gosh darn cute! E had her first dance recital this year. They did a tap number to L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole.

Final pose. She did a great job. She was pretty flawless in the dress rehursal and then during the routine she decided to add a few twirls that weren't part of the choreography. It was soooooo cute!!!

Grand finale dance with the entire company. I had the telephoto lens on so I couldn't take a picture of the whole stage. E had a super fun time doing this little routine too. 

E and her coach Miss Rebecca. She was just the sweetest and the owner of the Company! We loved her!

Then after a long day of rehursal and perfeormances, this sweet girl was all tuckered out. (Love thesucker in her hand. We are so proud of you E!!! Way to go love!
