Annie

Our last night in Vegas my dear friend Missy had some tickets to Annie that she wasn't able to use. They were 9th row, with drink vouchers, VIP parking (right in front of the door) and we could go meet the cast after the show. It was the perfect girls night.

I have never been to the Smith Center and it was beautiful!

Can you tell we were a bit excited?

It was an amazing show. My favorite person was Mrs. Hannigan she was amazing! Thank you so much for the tickets Missy and thank you Mom Tobler for coming with me. It was such a fun evening!

May Phone Favorites

I can't believe that we are into June. May flew by and was super busy but so much fun too! Here are a few of my phone favorites.

Mom, Dad Tobler and I at Jakob's graduation.

My less than stellar attempt at a photo for Mother's Day. At least we are all looking :)

That smile!

Learning to play the guitar with Pa. I think we have a future musician on our hands.

The boys at man night. Chuck had the cup but had to hold his little man Chaz (soooo cute). Duke was the new Champion of Men this game.

Playing in the sand with Grammy.

And cooling off in the pool. I am so excited to get to Kansas and get settled. I am excited to see what June has in store.

Day to Day in Vegas

Our day to day events are simple and that's just the way I like it.

E was so excited to see all of the kids in the house. She just sat and watched them.

Play doh, you know we are big fans.

Some days Manfred sat up at the big kid table. He was such a big boy and sooo stinking cute!

Cookies and milk with Pa started again and this time Duke was big enough to join in on the fun.

Duke was a big fan of this tradition.

We liked to "Go Elmo" on the bed.

Duke has started playing with toys, not for long spans at a time, but it's a start and it is a nice change.

E pulled Duke in the wagon and he was not impressed it was so funny.

Pa was practicing outside and Duke heard him. He raced out there and just started dancing and laughing! It was the cutest ever!

Then he wanted to play it himself. I think we have a future musician on our hands.

Man Night was a must. It was a fight for the cup. It was a tight race but Uncle Duke was the victor this round. We also got to meet baby Chaz for the first time.

We got to visit with the folks at NEPC and have lunch. it was so fun chatting.

I got to see my friend. Oh how I have missed her. She's the type of friend that you could just pop over and lay on her couch and chat for hours. I am completely myself around her and I love her so much!

E wanted to go swimming in her rain boots. It was too stinking hilarious.

Talk about hot stuff. Mom dresses herself and dang she looked. Such a good looking couple.

And as per usual Jakob worked on his list. It was fun and busy.

Our Last Day in Vegas

It was crazy how fast time flew while we were in Vegas. Before we knew it we were looking at out last day together and we tried to jam it as full as possible with just time spent together. While we were at D.I one day we came across a play doh set that made princess dresses. Seriously... how perfect is that? The only piece that was missing was an extruder at the top of the tower. So Pa decided that he would make one for E.

It was so sweet as she sat in the doorway and watched him. It was perfect! Thank you Pa!

We looked at pictures of our trip on Pa's phone.

There was some snuggling while E watched a show. I don't think Pa was exactly watching.

Then Grammy decided we should have a picnic. The kids were pretty excited.

A silly picture.
And a pretty picture.

Then we sat with our feet in the "pool" and ate plums from the tree. E just loved picking fruit straight from the tree.

Then we noticed that some Fairy's had found a home in Grammy's garden.

They had a door, a chicken coup, fence, bike and wheel barrow.

Grammy told E that she had to sprinkle some fairy dust on the things so that the fairies would come.

We brought up a Kiner Surpise Egg for Ethnie and she got to open it. She loves Kinder Surprises.

What are the chances, another fairy. It was a good last day. I can't wait to come back.

E & Pa

E and her best friend. Anytime Pa was home E was right by his side. It was so cute. They made cards with a ton of stickers.

They made a shake. E loved green shakes in the morning and she was so excited that Pa let her help.

Putting the blueberries.

Now the yogurt.

Mmmmm delicious.
I mean seriously... does it get any cuter than that?

These two are so cute it's unbelievable. I hope that this relationship just continues to blossom.
