July Phone Favorites

We got to go to the park with Aunt Missy. E really enjoyed the sand. Ethnie really misses "Ant Miss" She asks for her all the time. When the doorbell rings she assumes that Aunt Missy is at the door. When she realizes it's not her she run to the computer and says "Ma! Me see Cheese Ant Miss!" (she's asking to see a picture=cheese). It breaks my heart since I would love nothing more than to see my dear friend too.

I had a Mary Kaye party and E really wanted to put on some "mate up and rotion" too. I love having a girl!

This is how we play hide and seek in an airport. Good Golly I have cute kids!!

E falling asleep on the airplane home from Canada. The kids flew a total of three times in 2 weeks. :)

SLC with the brother.

Aunt Janet sent me a picture of my Niece Lucia pointing to a Canadian flag. It made my heart happy!! Thanks Lucia!!

Family Time in SLC

Weddings bring family together and I got to spend some time with my family which was fun. I love Chris, he's always ready to have fun!

We got to go see the Tabernacle which is being converted into a temple. It is going to be stunning once it's complete!!

My Mother is a BIG Osmond fan and it just so happens that Ben's family is in the same ward as the Osmonds (Jimmy and Donny.) We went to church on Sunday to spend more time with the Ben's family who happened to sleep in (I can't blame them.) Jimmy Osmond said the closing prayer and Mom got to meet him. The Osmonds are the reason why my Mom began to investigate the church. Because of my Mom almost my entire extended family is baptized and active. I am very thankful for my mother and the pioneer that she was in her home. It wasn't easy for her and I'm thankful for the Osmonds who lit that spark. Anyways, we went for a dirve to see where the Osmonds live. Jimmy was outside of his house so we didn't take a picture. This is Donny's house.

It's a good thing that Mom was in the middle seat in the back or else she would have jumped out and knocked on the door.

Quality family time, each person plugged into their own electronic device. :)

The next day we went to temple square. I {love} temple square. I only wish that Jakob was there with me since our anniversary is coming up this week and we were married here five years ago.

Mom and Dad were also sealed here 26 years ago August 9th.

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful building to be sealed in. It is a castle and I felt like a princess both spirituality and physically.

Once upon a time my Dad decided that he wanted to know if the church was true so he drove down to Salt Lake to meet the prophet and talk to him. You wonder where I get it from. Anyways his story is pretty neat but this is were he met with Kieth W. Wilcox and his whole journey started. I am a second generation Latter-Day Saint. My parents were both very brave in their own ways. I am so grateful that I was born and raised in such a great church and for their determination to find out if it was true. My life has been so blessed because of it!

I love this staute. There is such a reverence when you are standing in front of it.

Fun story, we went to go into the tabernacle. I came up to the front to take a picture (a crooked picture apparently) and I over heard a conversation that the sister missionaries were having with some people. You could tell that they were not members and they were talking about the acoustics of the halls. One of the ladies asked if the sisters would sing a song so that she could hear how beautiful it sounded. They were a bit uncomfortable so I walked over and said I'd sing with them. Chris jumped in to. We sang Families Can be Together Forever. The hall was quiet which was intimidating but very cool. It was a neat experience. After that we said goodbye to Dad and Chris who would be driving back home to Canada while Mom and I flew back to Nashville! It was a fun time but I was so ready to see my babies again!!!!

A Beautiful Bride

I had been in Nashville for seen days when I left for Salt Lake City to be in my cousin Leanne's wedding. It was hard being away from my babies for four whole days (never have I ever left then for more than 24 hours)  but it would have been near impossible to do this with babies. First thing upon arriving we come to find that Chris has taken off. He got bored so he decided to hike up a mountain. Everyone was rather concerned that he might have hurt himself and that we would have to call in a ranger. Here is everyone trying to find him on the hill. He came back a few hours later.... goof.

The happy couple.

Bye Ben, you will see your bride tomorrow!

I am an armature photographer, I mean i usually shoot on automatic, and I really didn't take many pictures since I was in the bridal party but I did manage to capture a few pictures behind the scenes. Getting ready....

Her shoes.

After our pictures we headed to Jamba Juice for some nourishment and to get water for our flowers.

Of all the Jamba's in Provo we ran into some of the groomsmen at a Jamba on the other side of town. It was funny.

I {loved} Leanne's dress!!! It was totally her and she looked STUNNING!

This is Margret the MOH. She was darling!!

I can't wait to see the professional ones. Leanne and Ben are such a beautiful couple. I loved Ben and I am so happy for them! Hopefully we will live close to them in Dallas in the near future!!
** Update** Here are some of the professional photos! :)
The Heyden side of the family.

My favorites of the Bride and Groom

I also have a weak spot for shoe pictures!

 The bridesmaids getting ready.

I love it when the photographer is talking to you while they take pictures. Then you smile and they take 8 more pictures... but they give you the picture where you're talking. NOT. Anyways... I should just learn not to talk in pictures.

SO thankful for my groomsman. Funny story. This path they had us walk in down this beautiful stone path. Only problem is I'm in 6 inch heels and this path is super uneven. During the rehearsal I told him not to let me fall. During the actual march my shoe TOTALLY falls off! So I'm totally gripping onto him. He asks if we should stop and I was like no! Keep going! I made it to my spot draging my shoe by my toes. According to the witnesses, no one noticed. I was so embarrassed.

My MOH's/ cousin's baby Lydia. She is so big! I wish I had more time to see Jess. Being in a bridal party is busy!

 My beautiful parents.

It was such a beautiful wedding and these two are such an amazing couple!
