February zoomed by. I swear there are only 15 days in a month, or at least that is how it feels to me! Here is a round up of our Phone Favs.
One afternoon during nap time E got a bloody nose, which she decided to wipe all over the white curtains in her room. Not exactly sure what she was thinking, she did wipe all the blood on the back side so it wasn't very noticeable which I was thankful for but still... Mama was a bit upset! So as her punishment she had to clean off the blood with peroxide. It came off pretty easily and she was very thorough.
My new currant craving. Turkey sausage and dill pickles!
Some funny faces from Manny!
One afternoon I was cleaning the house and the kids were just on one. I sent them to their room to play and they were happily giggling away for about an hour with the door shut. It was time for naps and I opened the door to put them in bed and I found snow on the floor. Duke was naked holding onto the railing of his crib. They had ripped a very peed diaper apart and there was peed diaper innards from one end of the room to the other, covering E's bed, the closet and on the dresser. While it was a huge mess and the entire room smelled of urine I was thankful that it was only pee and not poo. So for the next 25 minutes I stripped beds, threw kids in the tub, vacuumed the floor (Leaving my vacuum to smell like pee too), moped and sanitized. Mama wasn't very impressed.
Story time for Ellie.
Sometimes all three babies need you at the same time. Little brother wasn't very impressed with this community snuggle and kicked like crazy until everyone had gotten off of him!
Daddy and I had a morning meeting so he got to take E to school. She as so excited for Daddy to drop her off and it was fun for him to quickly meet E's teachers.
You know your best friend is AWESOME when she comes over and mops your floor for you.
On the hunt with Grammy! We LOVE 50% off Savers days!
Grammy taking Bear to the bus!
There was some contention at school regarding E and her friends. Everyone wants to play with E which makes my heart happy but it has caused some fighting. While E wasn't technically at fault we decided that she still needed to apologize to her teachers. She came home and wrote out letters, all of the words, by herself. It took quite a bit of time but she has been such a wonderful help in her class since then. I was very proud of her!
February was awesome. We had such a blast and we had some life lessons not only for the kids but for Mama as well. I am really enjoying this stage of life with my kids and I double love being their Mama. I am grateful for wonderful children who really try their best to be good listeners and who work hard to make things better when they make mistakes. Now onto March. Daddy is going out of town, I have one more SOLID month before little man arrives and Oma is coming for Spring Break. I have a feeling the time has no intention of slowing down.
