Toboganning

 The snow was perfect so headed out to the tobogganing hill. I was in my happy place. Here are WAY too many pictures but they all make me so dang happy!

Daddy's Lego

My kiddos  are slowly starting to get into Lego and Jakob thought it would be a great idea to break out his Lego from when he was a kid. Some how everything got all mixed up in the boxes but my goodness, it was such an amazing activity for EVERYONE!

I eventually went a bit crazy and decided to sort everything by color which made things much more efficent. Jakob had A LOT of Lego. 

It wasn't just a kid activity either. WE spent three SOLID days building Lego and it was so much fun! 

While most of us were trying to put sets together (yes, Jakob ad all of the instructions still!) Dad rocked out some master builder skills and made this adorable dude. It was SO. DANG. FUN!

 

Duke's Birthday

 Duke's birthday was on Sunday so we celebrated in bits and pieces. Birthday Eve last night being 6!

We got him Burger King for his birthday lunch on Saturday. He was pretty excited!

E made Duke all of the Octonauts out of Perlor Beads. It was a labor of love and Duke really liked them!

Birthday treat was unicorn ice cream and rainbow sour belts. Happy Birthday sweet Bear! You are so loved!

Duke's (Late) Hair Chop

 We are a few months late with Duke's yearly hair chop. We usually wait until it starts to get warm outside, but this year it stayed pretty chilly. Duke finally said "Mama, it's time." So we had to take some before pictures. This is the longest his hair has ever gotten. 

A few weeks earlier I had cut Jakob's hair and it turned out HORRIBLY! I mean it was so so so so so bad, so I told Jakob he could cut it. That may have been a bad choice.

He essentialy gave Duke the exact same "cut" that I gave Jakob. The short on the sides and long on top thing is hard to handle but got darn it, Duke can rock anything. He has hair straight from heaven. You are so handsome my boy and he looks so grown up now!!

Family Pictures

This year for our family pictures we decided to do a lifestyle shoot and I am SOOOO in love with them! With a newborn we decided to stay inside. I feel like these pictures are so warm and cozy and I'm posting them all. Enjoy!
