Valley of Fire

We headed out to Valley of Fire and it was the perfect adventure. Lots of space to run around and fresh air. The outdoors are my happy place. Here are way too many pictures.

Lunch time.

He finally fell asleep. Poor Baby.

I climbed to the top to see into the crevasse.

Valley of Fire was wonderful and I can't wait to go back!

Little Helpers

With all of these people in Gramma and Pa's house, we had some tiny helpers clean up the house. They were so wonderful!

This one just tried to undo everyone's work. :)

So thankful for these tiny humans! They are wonderful helpers.

Bass Pro

COVID has changed a lot of things but the craziest one was visiting Santa. Poor Santa has to sit in a little bubble with a face shield and a mask. WOOF! We had to book our time slot and we couldn't take our own pictures. BUT we got a cute picture of the 2020 holiday and the cousins together.

Gramma had the brilliant idea to head down to Bass Pro and have a scavenger hunt. Las Vegas has an amazing Bass Pro and there was a lot to hunt for. Roo was mesmerized by the "Dory" fish tank. He was happy screaming and dancing like crazy.

We split into three teams and we were off.

Benicio and Duke were with Aunt Janet and Uncle Chad.

We had Violet and Sprout. I'm not going to lie, we were pretty competitive.

the fun part was that we didn't run into any family members until the very end. We were all in!

It's pretty safe to say that we won ;)

We headed outside to play in the water, I mean take a couple of pictures.

Roo REALLY wanted to play with that Christmas ball.

Cousins!

I sure do love our tribe.

Thanksgiving

We headed off to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. With Covid and all of the stress around getting sick, I almost cancelled this whole trip. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am that I didn't. I walked into Mom and Dad's hose and it felt like coming home. I actually started crying. It has been over a year since we had been back to Vegas and my soul missed it. Mom and I rocked out Thanksgiving dinner. It was a labor of LOVE!

Lots of labor ;)

Best part about Thanksgiving was that Chad and Janet came along too! It was so nice to spend time with them and to have some cousin bonding going on too!!!!!

Cheers!!

Violet is the second oldest cousin, and Roo is the youngest.

This years cake was a pumpkin cake with a browned butter buttercream and it was delicious!

Gosh darn it I love this crew!

Mom and Dad's home doesnt have enough room for all of us so mom got creative and put up two tents in her bedroom for the boy and girls. Roo got put in the closet and mom and dad slept in their bed. It was crazy but so dang cozy and SO dang fun!!

Okay, foods done, LET'S PLAY!

Mama's 31st

My birthday was low key and it was exactly what I wanted. There were lots of snuggles and kisses!

Jakob made me some home made donuts. Delicious and gosh darn it they were pretty.

The kids sang happy birthday and told me why they loved me and it was just exactly right.

My darling friend Val stopped by the next day with a cake because she said I deserved one because I make beautiful cakes for everyone else. She is the sweetest!

Feeling so very loved. It was a wonderful birthday!
