Harry Potter Sweaters

My niece Violet is a BIG Harry Potter fan. a few weeks before we were heading to Vegas I saw some DIY Weasley sweaters on Pinterest. I knew I wanted to make one and so I asked my niece if she too would be interested. She absolutely was. So we started our sweaters.

There was a bit of a learning curve attached to the patterns as not all waffled weaved sweaters are the same stitch length. It became apparent early on the it was a bit overwhelming for Violet so I made both of ours.

The next day my SIL Janet found the perfect waffle woven red sweater at a thrift store. She bought it thinkingthat she'd make her own sweater once she got back home. I knew that time would get away and that her project would more than likely not get accomplished so I started sewing like a good house elf should.

Janets sweater was intricate work!

... Janet played with Roo. She is such an amazing Aunt!

E wanted a piece of the action so she did a few stitches too.

And they are done!!! I'm a little bit cross eyes and my fingers are sore but they look SO DANG GOOD!!!

Now, it's time to make E one. I love them so much!

November Phone Favorites

Novemeber started off very slow and ended being really busy. Here's a round up of this months Phone Favorites. This year the election was rough. People were mean and tensions we HIGH. I was so ready for this election to be over. I am so grateful for the opportunity that Jakob gets to vote. The results may not always go in our favor but I'm grateful that we get to have a say.

We went to our friend Carlie's house. I walked in the front door and looked up at the mantle and said "Is that the Lombardi Trophy?" She laughed and said yeah it is? Do you want a picture? Ummmmm YES!

Then she uped the anti with the ring and the helmet. Sprout was so wiggly but he was VERY impressed with that ring.

After six months apart Millie Mouse is back in our lives two days a week. There was a lot of happy screaming going on. It was awesome to have the crew back together again.

A tea party put on all by themselves complete with hair accessories, a napkin and cups.

LOTs of snuggles!
This baby loves tub time!

We rearranged the house... again. The boys now have their own bedroom...

And E has her own room. She is so excited to have her very own space. It was long over due but better late than never.

Lots of Millie.

When I'm in a funk I am guaranteed to get out of it with a dance party.

Oh sweet baby.

My hair was curled for family pictures.

I love how much he loves Elephant.

E has been a reading machine lately and we are so dang proud of her. Go baby GO!

Just holing Boris's hand.

Got enough water?

It was Carlie's birthday and I wanted to her feel special since Porter in NEVER home on her birthday. So I made her a cake. First time using a comb, and it was fun!

Gearing up for Christmas. Duke bought his sibling gift for Roo.

the Ferrin's came to visit for the afternoon and these girls were in HEAVEN!

Sprout ran into the fireplace on the Bumblebee and gave himself some cauliflower ear. Poor boy!

The filling of this cake needs another picture.

And there you have it! Onto DECEMBER and the end of 2020. This year has zooooooomed by and I have no doubt this next month will too!
