Taylor Swift

It was London's birthday and we had a ladies night to remember! We got all dolled up and saw Taylor Swift!!!!!!!! Are you ready for it?!

Liz, Whitney, Brielle, Myself, Megan, Laura, Shelby, Jodi, London, Drew, Anna and Linsey!

The show was amazing! T. Swift does not disappoint!

Laura, Megan and I. Camila Cabello opened for Taylor and we were all up standing and dancing our hearts out when the lady behind us tapped Megan on the shoulder and asked if we planned on standing the whole time. Megan, very nicely, explained that it was a concert and that everyone stands up. The mother said that it was her kids first concert and that they paid to see the show. Megan said that once the concert started that the whole stadium would be standing. They mother was not very pleased. Later on Megan and Laura sat down and the people behind us hand put nacho cheese all over their chairs. It was all down the backs of their shirts and on their bums. Megan and Laura both cleaned up and didn't even say anything then they continued to dance away and enjoy the concert. we turned back around and the Mom and her kids were gone. We have no idea where. Now I get the Mom's perspective, but the kids she was with were 14 at least. Megan and Laura handled it with such class and we danced on. As Taylor would say "Shake It Off!"

Baby let the games begin, let the games begin!!!

One of the coolest parts of the show was these wrist bands. Each person got a wrist band and they changed colors based on where you were sitting. It was the coolest thing to watch the crowd ripple in color!

 And it's over. So sad!!

It was an amazing night at an amazing show with amazing friends. We had a blast. Happy birthday London!!!

Duke's 5th Birthday

At long last we get to celebrate Duke!!

Dinosaur cake as per his exact specifications.

Dinosaur tails for our guests.

We made up some dinosaur eggs for our guests as well.

I'm really pleased with how the pinata turned out.

This bunting was super quick to make and we got a lot of compliments on it! So cute!

Waiting for our friends!

I am completely obsessed with this wrapping paper.

Umm, these little tails! Be still my heart!!

Dinosaur face paints. :)

We did a bone hunt, and built a dinosaur.

And some magic!

And we broke our pinata.

Happy birthday sweet beautiful boy!

And then we hatched an egg...

... and they got baby dinosaurs!

We had such a wonderful afternoon and we are so thankful to everyone who came to help celebrate Duke. We have the best friends!!

Dinosaur Cake

I had grand ambitions for this cake and volunteered Jakob to help. Of all my cakes, this was the first one that Jakob ever helped me with. He did a great job carving.

And then I went and ruined everything. I didn't make enough blue fondant and we didn't have enough to stretch it over. Once it was done, Jakob and I hated it! We were so disappointed.

So we decided to add some dirt and some rocks to cover up the tray and all of a sudden we liked it. :) It really pulled it together.

And then there was Duke who loved it and that was all that mattered. Let the party begin!
