• Ethnie loves to sing.  She will just burst out in song randomly. I usually have music playing through the house and sometimes she will sing along. Other times she'll hear one she recognizes and say "Mommy! That's our song!" She has to sing 6 different songs before bed and in order and they are: ABC, You Are My Sunshine, Popcorn Popping, Twinkle Twinkle, Jesus wants Me for A Sunbeam and Elmo's World.
• This girl is all about routines. Things have to be done a certain way or she just can't handle it. Her daily routine goes as follows: 7:30- 8:30: Wake up. 9:00: breakfast, 10:00: Duke goes for a nap and that is Mommy and E time. She usually play with play doh or we do a craft. Anything that is hard to do when Duke is awake. 12:30: Duke is up and we do lunch. 2:30: Community nap time. E is so tired and takes a 2 1/2-3 hour nap. 5:30: if they aren't up get them up and start dinner. 6:00: Dinner and then we watch an evening show or play with Daddy if he's home. 7:30: Tub time. 8:00: Bed.

•  Ethnie is totally into everything Frozen (just like every other girl!) She loves Elsa and Anna, she likes to play with her magic clippy dolls and play with play doh. She is a very imaginative child and has gotten really good at playing/ entertaining herself.
• E is ALWAYS in a dress! She will not wear skirts so I have made them all into dresses. We have all of her dresses hung up on a rack that she can reach and she will decided what she wants to wear from there. She's been known to change her outfit several times a day

• One of E's favorite activities is going to the park at the Zoo. So glad I bought a season pass! She loves being outside and exploring.
• She asks to Skype Oma and Opa and her Grammy and Pa at least four times a day. She usually Skypes with Opa daily. She loves seeing her grandparents!! It makes them not so far away! She also knows how to call them all by herself. She will first call them on the phone to see if they can Skype and then she'll turn Skype on, find them and start Skyping. There have been a few occassions where she's started Skyping without me knowing and I hear her talking to someone when I find out it's Grammy or Opa. It's too cute!

• This girl is so smart. I really don't think I'm challenging her enough. She loves to count and say her ABC's. We've started working on what sounds the letters make and matching big and small letters. She never ceases to amaze me.
• E loves to do crafts which is fine by me. She gets so proud when she hangs them up on the wall.

• Ethnie must always have her hair braided either in Elsa (one braid) or Anna (two braids). She's not too fond of having her hair like Tinkerbell (up in a little top knot) but I keep trying. Some days she's okay to have it down if she has a headband or a bow.
• E loves to watch YouTube and watch the play doh princess lady who make princess dresses out of playdoh for her dolls. She could watch her for hours!

• Favorite foods: Cheese's and Yogurt, pasta with butter, fruit of all kinds, pizza, waffles with whipped cream, cake and junk food. She is a super fussy eater and it takes quite a bit of work to get her to eat things. She will not eat any meat or veggies so I make protein shakes and smoothies full of spinach and things for her which she loves.
• Favorite toys: Her favorite toys include her clippy dolls, her Elsa doll, her pink sock bunny that I made for her, her peg princess set, Legos and anything play doh!

• Ethnie is OCD! Things have to be the right way. Things have to be in order and if routine is messed up she simply cannot function. I would like to say that I never wanted her to be like me. She's been this way since she was 10 months old but it's getting more intense as she's getting older.
• E is a busy girl. She is always playing, creating, and going. She likes to watch shows and snuggle on the bed with our phones or the tablet but this girl likes action.

• She is very independent. If she is capable of doing it by herself she wants to. She doesn't want any help going potty, getting dressed, eating, putting her toys in order in her bed and so on. It's hard sometimes when she wants to move at a 3 year old pace, but it is also super fun watching her get her own mind.
• She has to give hugs and kisses before people leave. She is very attached and if you leave without a proper send off it hurts her heart.

• She loves nursery & going to friends houses. She loves to be with friends but usually watches what they are doing. She's an observer and a little bit reserved which is fine by us. She likes to play and laugh too once she gets comfortable.
• She loves her grandparents on both sides. She is always asking to Skype Oma and Opa and she is always asking for Grammy to come to our house she she can go to her Pa's. There is no contest however, Pa is her favorite person in the world. She asks for him constantly and being more than a 20 minute drive away from him is really hard on her. Jakob and I have accepted that we are not the center of her world. Like I said, we are so thankful for Skype which makes our loved ones not so far away!

• Ethnie makes the FUNNIEST facial expressions. She is always making silly faces to express her mood and they crack. me. up!

• E loves stuffed animals and as at least 15 of them in her bed! Her favorites are her Elsa doll, her 3 bunnies, and her puppies.
• Ethnie loves to dance! Her favorite songs to get her grove on to are: Timber by Ke$ha, Good Time by Owl City, Thriller/ Off with Your Head by Glee, 1,000 Years Pt 1 & 2 by Christina Perri, Let It Go by Frozen and anything else with a beat. She will light up when one comes on Pandora and we drop everything to get our dance on. She's a big fan of the hair flip and twirling!

• At this moment her favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham. WE read it at least 10 times a day. I am trying to get her to understand and learn some sight words. It's lots of fun!

• This girl knows all about technology. She sometimes thinks that the T.V is a touch screen. She can operate everything phone, tablet, iTouch, or DVD player in the house all by herself. She can open apps, type in her searches by the first letter, and switch the users on Netflix. She never ceases to amaze me!

This girl is my light, my love and my happiness. She is so full of love and laughter. She is always making me smile and always wants to play with us. I couldn't have asked for a happier little girl. Happy 3rd birthday princess!!! Love you I do, I do!!
