As mentioned before E has been doing chores around the house to earn some money. She had finally gotten enough money in her spending cup to go to pick out a small toy from the store. She was sooo excited!
After some careful consideration and some comparing of prices she settled on a "My Little Pony" figurine. She came up to the till and I explained to Sherry the clerk that this was E's first purchase and that she was spending her own money. Sherry was just perfect making this a special moment for E, taking her time and helping her count out the $3.74.
I was so proud of her my heart almost exploded!
She put her little wallet back into her purse and proudly carried our her little pony and the receipt. She is very careful with her pony because it took quiet a bit of hard work to earn that $3.74! Good Job E! We are so proud of you!
