Roo's Big Bonk

 Baby vs Stairs. Before.....

After. Break. My. Heart. Roo was playing on the stairs and he's been able to go up and down for quite some time. I was in the kitchen when I heard the crash and woah baby was he sad.

I mean pictures don't even do this thing justice.

Needless to say the rest of the day was spent snuggling and playing Peek-a-Roo. Poor sweet baby.

Uncle David

David came out the same day that Mom and Dad left and it was awesome. the kids LOVE when David visits. He talks, goofs around and plays with them and it means a lot to them.

Jakob doesn't have a very big crew here in Kansas. We have some great friends, don't get me wrong, but his Vegas man night crew hit different. Jakob was giddy like a kid having David here and it was AWESOME to see him having a great time. The boys went to a training course for shooting and they had a blast.

We had some late night chatting.

And they worked on some projects together which was both hilarious to listen to them banter like old men and awesome to see the light at the end of the basement tunnel!

It was a fun five days and we can't wait until David comes back, hopefully with his crew. Thanks for coming friend. We missed you!

First Snow

WE INTERRUPT YOUR REGULAR SCHEDULED PROGRAM OF FALL AND BRING YOU SNOW. FALL WILL RESUME MOMENTARILY.

While I am not ready for snow to stick quite yet, I'm not going to pretend to be mad about having some fluffy stuff to play in! This kids were thrilled and it was a fun two days for playing outside.

 And now, back to fall.

Carving Pumpkins

While the men were shooting, we were over at the Dyches carving pumpkins. It's not a big thing in their family so it was really sweet of them to do it with us. It was pure chaos in the best way!

Duke flew totally solo on his carving this year and it was so fun to see him get creative!

Sprouty was dangerous with the knives. All eyes were on that boy for sure!!

He told e he had to use his big basketball muscles. He makes me laugh.

Peanut did a great job all on her own!

I had to d the traditional first pumpkin for Roo. Also, I cannot get enough of him in his skelton outfit.

E's pumpkin with a Harry Potter scar.

I love that cheesy smile!
Duke did an awesome job. Way to go Duke!!

Baby's first Halloween! Happy Hallow's Eve!

Carving pumpkins is one of my favorites and I love that everyone went for faces this year. P.s. do you see the dusting of snow we got?

Pumpkin Patch

We usually hit up the pumpkin patch the first weekend in OcTobler, but this month has been busy with some very random weather. Grammy and Pa flew out Thursday morning and as soon as the kids were done with school I kidnapped Daddy from work and we headed out to the patch.

It was really windy, but it was warm and perfectly overcast so our pictures turned out PERFECT!!!!!

Every year we make up our own little photo shoot area piling up pumpkins and finding ones with different colors. I really think this is our best pile yet.

Also, can you get enough of Roo?! SWOON!

Oh wait, I have other kids too! Sprout is to the stage where all of his smiles look like he's in pain. It's hilarious.

Duke has got a career in modeling down! That boy is so dang handsome!

Oh my Peanut! She is all of the good things in this world!

Family time!

We all picked a little pumpkin and we were headed home to go get Uncle David. It was a great quick adventure. I love the pumpkin patch!!
