Rolling and Found my Toes

Redd is rolling both ways now and it is SO nice not having to race in a flip him over every five seconds because he got stuck!

And since he's just SO dang cute, here are not even close to enough pictures of him!

Those eyes have me swooning all the time!

I love when he sucks on his bottom lip. Reddy-Roo also found his toes! He gets so dang excited when he grabs them. It makes my heart so dang happy!

Oh sweet boy. We are so obsessed with you! You have everyone wrapped around your finger and we aren't even upset about it! You are so loved!

Redd's Firist St. Patty's

I am obsessed! Look at that little Leprechaun!!!!!!!! This blue eyed boy was so dang sweet while we took these. All smiles and dimples.

We are not even close to sitting up. He's so happy he just curls up in a ball and tips right over.

Oh sweet boy!!!! We are so lucky to have you!

And one of my fav behind the scene shots, because it takes forever to set these silly things up but it's so worth it. It was a low key, non existent St. Patty's but this boy got a photo shoot and that made it special! Redd you are so loved!

Learning to Ride

Sometimes quarantine brings out the best in you! You find you have time for all sorts of things you didn't before, like teaching your 6 year old how to finally ride a bike. (I can't believe it took us this long!) Duke was less than excited. To be honest he wanted nothing to do with it at all, but Mama took of his training wheels and told him they weren't coming back.

Daddy held the back seat for pictures, and then promptly told Mama it was her turn to do it. It didn't take him long, Duke he really goo balance. He toppled a few times mostly because he refused to go fast enough to keep balanced.

Sprout was super excited to go on our practicing rides.

And then he got it and he LOVES to ride! He's riding E's old bike and doesn't seem to mind, although I think he needs something bigger. These kids are growing WAY too fast! Way to go Bear! You are a rock star and I knew you could do it! You are so loved!

Duke's ROAR Award

It was Duke's turn for his ROAR award way to go BEAR!!!!!!

So dang proud of this rock star boy! His teachers say that he is a hard worker and listens so well. He was so dang happy as he walked up there.

Look at that smile!

As tradition, Duke got to pick a treat for after and he chose happy meals from McDonalds. The weather was perfect so we had a picnic. You are so loved my boy.

Snip Snip

We both agreed that Redd would be our last baby. Four is a good number but when Jakob booked his appointment to get snipped I wasn't sure that I was ready. The day arrived and I had to ask him, for the 20th time if he was sure. He looked at me straight faced and said, "if we want more we can adopt." He went off to his appointment and I cried. This chapter is officially closed! And it is what we both wanted. I'm just not sure I could have been the one to do it!

Everything went well. He was sore, but he hardly took drugs. He went for his checkup and came home with this very official prescription. I laughed so hard I cried.

And there we have it, our family is complete.

4 Months

 Weight: 16lbs 3.6 oz - 66th percentile
Height: 25.39 inches - 60th percentile
Head Circumference: 16.54 - 61st percentile
Nicknames: Reddy-Roo & Nugget

+ Redd has fund his hands. He will just clasp them so daintily in front of him and sit there. It is so dang cute!
+ He loves to have bum and outfit changes. the second he is set on the changing table he is all smiles!

+ This sweet boy is talking like crazy. He has found his voice and he wants to tell you all the stories all day. I love the sound of his little coos.
+ He loves to play Patty Cake with E. It's their go to game if he is upset at all.

+ Redd started really puking this month and boy, is he efficient. He can soak and outfit, Mama and a blanket all in one go without even blinking an eye. I've started doing shorter nursing sessions more frequently and it has helped but he's still got reflux.
+ He got sick this month and started waking up a lot. Since then, he's been up 3-4 times a night and it's exhausting. Lucky for him, he's my last baby so I really don't mind the waking up and snuggling. He's still sleeping next to us, so we may try to transition him to his own room to see if that helps.

+ Reddy-Roo is SO close to rolling. He can kick his feet over but he always flips them back. I'm sure he'll be doing flips any day now.
+ He is the only baby I have ever met who can lay in a cradle and watch an entire movie from start to finish. And I mean watch, not simply lay there while the TV is on. He is glued, the whole time. And it can't just be any movie mind you, it has to be Finding Dory. Not finding Nemo, for some reason despite the characters being the same and it having the same color platte, he knows the difference. He is OBSESSED with Dory.

+ He is Mama's boy through and through. He likes to give Daddy a hard time. I'm sure it's only because I smell like milk, but I'll take it.
+ He moved up to size two diapers and I have a feeling he'll be into size three in no time.

+ Redd loves to suck on his hands and thumb. that being said, he isn't the biggest fan of his sue. His hands are in his mouth all day though. Hand control is fun!
+ He really enjoys being on his play mat and fighting his little turtle toy. He will kick it, grab it and chew on it and yell at it. It's entertaining!

This sweet baby is growing and changing so fast. I was crying as we took these pictures because he was 1/3 of the way through his first year already! How is that even possible?! Please can I just freeze time? Since I'm a sucker and I am rather obsessed with our little man, here are a few more pictures. You're welcome. :)
