Salt Dough Ornaments

Thursday morning while trying to pass the time waiting for Pa to arrive we made up some salt dough ornaments. The kids were pretty excited.

E was so cute carfully assembling her little ornament with hair, a scarf, a bow and other accessories.

After a quick bake, (literally this recipe I followed said to bake them at 325F for 1 hour. Horrible idea. we had to redo all of Leif's hand prints and most of the other ornaments browned pretty badly.) the kids painted them up. 

E's is my favorite. The skirt, scarf, sliver hair bow and purple cookie. She is so cute!

All of my kids have their Santa ornament from their first Christmas. After a second batch of dough we finally got Sprout made for him.
