This year I suggested that E should write a letter to Santa telling him what she wanted for Christmas. Santa only brings us one present each year and so she had to really think about what she wanted him to bring her.
She also had to write out her letter on her own. She was so ridiculously cute!
The following night we headed to Crown Center to see Santa. There wasn't any line at all and funnily enough we ran into the Georges there which was a fun surprise. Our family Santa photo for 2017!

Santa was wonderful taking his time with E, reading her letter.
Since there wasn't anyone else in line I asked Santa if he would mind taking a few pictures with just Leif as it is his first Christmas. He was happy to oblige.
Then he said, "Mom come stand here, this will be a cute picture!" He turned him around and started to chat with him. It was the cutest. I was so thankful for Santa and that he was willing to take the time to capture a special moment.
then we got to play with friends for a bit which is always fun. It's starting to feel like Christmas. There's a bit of magic in the air.
