Some of our favorite toys are the shoe horns from IKEA and a long handled paintbrush that Duke carries around as his weapon of choice. Toss in a Daddy and a laundry hamper and you are set for war, which usually gets pretty intense.
Daddy had to get a shield to defend himself from the onslaught of attacks.
Soon Duke wanted to be protected too!
Then E wanted to join in, but she had to lay down her weapons of war before Daddy could trust her to come under the shield. :)
All safe and sound.
Then it was time for rides in the airplane. Daddy is such a guy and can make a laundry hamper the coolest toy in the world complete with sound effects. E and Zebra had fun.
E also has a new love in her life. Meet "Zee-Ba." These two are rather close and E won't let anyone touch him. If Duke tries to play with him at all E says that Zee-Ba needs to take a nap and puts him in her crib. Zee-Ba sleeps alot. :)
It is so wonderful having Daddy home. I am so thankful for him and for the help, support and hard work that he puts into providing for us every day. He is my best friend and I don't think I could have gotten a better guy. Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when he set us up. :)
